Based on the request of the representatives of the town of Velké Meziříčí, a survey of the existing condition of the gymnasium building adjacent to the Primary School on Kostelní Street is underway. The building is experiencing subsidence of a number of perimeter columns along the road. This is manifested, among other things, by considerable damage to the internal masonry and cracks and sagging in the floors. Once the causes of subsidence have been determined, a proposal for the structural securing of the building will be carried out.

At the same time, extensive damage was found in the construction of the flat roof over the gymnasium. Here it was necessary to close the area and secure it against free movement of people. The design of the roof rehabilitation is currently being finalised.
